about the school
the cedar lodge cookery school was established by gillian shaw in 1999 along side her catering business. the school is run in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and has classes ranging from those for the complete beginner, to master classes for the more advanced student. They also have demonstrations from guest chefs.
The classes are themed and amongst those regularly run are italian, thai, desserts and puddings plus Cooking for Family and Friends - Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced full day cookery classes friends and family.
the aim of the school is to provide students with a day out that is enjoyable, constructive and gives them the personal professional attention that they pride themselves on providing. Fresh vegetables and herbs from the garden when available
gillian is ably assisted by her staff members, who like her, are well qualified. between them they run the classes, the catering business and also the outside team building events.
